DC Comic’s latest campaign seeks to spport the fight against the East Africa famine. It pledges to match every donation given by one hundred percent. It is also releasing specially branded merchandise, of which fifty percent of the purchase price will also be donated. It is also supporting charities that are dedicated to helping the crisis by donating two million dollars of its own money over a two year period.

The We Can Be Heroes campaign uses the globally recognised figures of Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Flash, who come together to make up the Justice League. Its message is that, like these heroes, when we come together we can be much stronger.
